Howell), b. ca 1813/15 (in Maryland?). With 1st wife (name?________, he had two children: 1. Thomas C. HOWELL, b. ca 1835/36 in KY, m. Priscilla Jane Outen, 1857 in Vermilion Co. IL. 2. Rebecca HOWELL, b. ca 1838, KY, m. John Van Blairicon, 1858, Vermilion Co. IL. The family moved to Vigo Co. IN, 1st wife died, and TW married a 2nd time to Louisa Tabitha Young, 1841, Vigo Co. IN. The family moved to Vermilion Co. IL and had 6 children: 1. Elisabeth, b. 1842, d. 1845 2. Mary E. b. ca 1845, m. Thomas J. Akers 1870 3. Louisa J. b. ca 1847, m. James H. Strain 1866 4. Matilda Ann b. ca 1849, m.Chas. H. Strain 1866 5. Caroline L. b. 20 Sep 1850, m. Thom. J. Jones 1872 and Benj. F. Towner 6. Samuel W. b. 1853, in IN (after father died)m. Eliz L. Wilson, 1878 and Angeline Savannah Brown in 1881. Thomas Washington Howell died in 1853, his wife returned to Vigo Co. IN with the children. She died in 1899, after re-marrying, and returning to IL.
