Millie here - I'm trying to obtain information on Matthew HOWELL, Sr. m. to Jane Watkins Howell from England. They came to US with a large family in Sept. 1860, stayed in New York City for 6 months, farmed in Clinton Co. Ohio, farmed in 1868 at Wapello Co. Iowa, and then moved to Lucas Co. Iowa where Matthew died in 1870. His son, Matthew HOWELL, Jr. m. Rebecca Wrightesman, Wapello Co. Iowa and then went to York Co. Nebraska.
