Debbie, I have a Thomas Howell in my database who was born in 1751 in Edgecombe County, NC. The present-day Edgecombe and Wayne Counties aren't that far apart, and the birthdates are close. I don't have much on "my" Thomas, but do have quite a bit on his parents and siblings. Take a look and see if you think there is a match.
