All Right,Colleen, Here is my line again. Sarah To the Howell Family List My Howell line is very short. Catherine Howell m James Crawford 2 March 1762 at Christ Church, Phil., Penn. He d 1803 and she d 1815 both in Rockbridge Co VA. They had 10 children and most or all of them born in PA. Her father is said to be Thomas and her mother Catherine but I have never found any reason that that information was given. Mrs Clementine Railey said that he was from Bybery and she was from Southern Twp Montgomery Co PA. She said that Catherine Howell was Welch: spoke with a Welch accent. She also said that "Catherine Howell is said to have been an intelligent women, fond of reading, especially history, and would remain up after the family had retired, to read." If anyone has information that will make this list longer I would certainly appreciate it. Sarah
