Good morning cousins, Some of you may not be aware of the incredible web site at the Digital Library of Virginia. From this site you can download images of bible records, deeds, land grants etc. Most is for Virginia, but not all. For example I just downloaded three land grants for William Howell, my ancestor in Grayson county VA, from early 1800's. I also found a land grant for my ancestor Robert Graham dated 1771. There are lots of Howel's and Howell's, so search both names. Learning to get use the search functions is a little tricky, but stick with it.
