Many thanks, Carol; you've added to the inforamtion I have on this line. Your son-0in-law and I come from the same line, since Levi and Mary Green Howell are also my ancestors. The Howell book is one janel Howell and I wrote with the help of a lot of our cousins about 3 years ago. You can buy it from Heritage Books, Inc. in Bowie MD for about $15.00 right now. It is on a clearance table there. they published it for us. If you have any of the genealogy magazines you can find their address in one of them, or you can go to heritagebooks.com on the Internet. The book # is 1459, the title is "The Descendants of Hugh Howell" by Janel Howell and Jeannette Phethean. More later, I just got company.
