WILLIAM HOWELL OF1 VIRGINIA was born about 1720 in Augusta Co.,Virginia. The name of the father of John and William Howell has not been proven.Some researchers believe the name may have been Wesley instead of William. The birth date and place is also unproven. Some researchers believe he was born in England and some believe he was born in Wales.Others believe he was born in Virginia. The name of his spouse and date of marriage is unknown. His known children were John and William I also have a question about the DNA project. How has someone determined the DNA of our ancestors prior to say 1700?
