Hi Greg - I don't have your Richard Howell in my database, but I did find him in the book "The Early History of Southampton, L.I., New York With Genealogies" by George Rogers Howell 1887 under the heading "Howell Family of Southold" beginning on page 320. There is a lot of Howell info in this book if you haven't seen it yet. Take care.
