Lucy is buried at the old Asa Parham farm in Vance Co. along with JOHN THOMAS HOWELL AND SARAH ELIZABETH PARHAM. JOHN THOMAS HOWELL was said to be crazy---jumped in well and killed himself. He suceeded his father in the tobacco manufacturing business to 1881. From 1882 to 1893 the business lay domant, when J. WALTER HOWELL revived it an continued until 1903. They manufactured plug tobacco--licorice flavored. JOHN THOMAS HOWELL and SARAH ELIZABETH PARHAM had the following children: 1. KATE HOWELL d.
