Jim Coffee who has resided in the eastern portion of the county for about two years, was tried on a charge on insanity Tuesday of this week. Sheriff Apel brought Mr. Coffee to Quitman latter part of last week. He is about 45 years of age, and has two little girls, aged 9 and 11. His brother, Karles Coffee, of Muskogee, Okla, and brother-in-law, F.N. Howell of Eddy, Texas, came here Sunday, the brother remaining until room can be secured at the Asylum for the patient.
