Just got back from Illinois, hope I'm not too late for a roll call . . . My mystery Howell is Samuel Urier (Uriah?) HOWELL, who lived in the ARK/MO/Illinois area in the 1870-1900 era. Among his sons is a Paul Howell, my grandfather. Sorry that I don't have more info right now, but I'm hoping that Samuel Howell's unusual middle name stands out in someone's data. Thanks.
