Has anyone come across a David Howell in ohio or Indiana between 1860 and 1880? I can only find him in 1900 after he came to Calif. He was in Mexican War, Private and Captain in Civil war in Indiana Volenteers. Born in Lexington Ohio Oct 28,1828. Married first wife Mary ? died Feb25, 1858. Two Children William E. and Florence A. 2nd wife Emma C. Gaylord. Two children George Winthrop and Fannie A. Please help! Kathy
