Vina Howell, born 1797-1802, is listed on the 1850 & 1860 Roane County, TN Census...She is living with son, Pleasant Howell..Can't find her in 1870.(Also, Pleasant is no longer around by 1870..thought to have died during the Civil War) Interestingly, in 1870, Pleasant's widow is living in Polk County, Tn. . In 1880, Vina is living with grandaughter, Amanda Howell Buchanan, in Polk County, Tn. Now, I have been told that Vina's father could be Malachi/Malachia Howell... Some court records of Roane County indicate this could be true.. Does anyone out there have information on her? ANYTHING would be appreciated.. Thank You... Connie
