Just received information from a cousin that James L. Howell's father was Daniel Howell born 1815 in Clay, NC. This is the way the cousin lists the line of descent: John Howell b. Wales or England Ralph Howell b. Bristol, England Marmaduke Howell b. Sept. 20, 1773 in Robeson, NC Daniel Howell b. 1815 in Clay, NC James L. Howell b. 1847 in Coffee Co., Alabama James was my great-grandfather and I would love to have confirmation that the above lineage is correct, so if any one out there has any information I would love to hear from you.
