>From NYGBR of 1897:85 - part of "Howell Genealogical Items" collected by George R. Howell = I find information on a Bill of complaint by John Howell of Wedon, Co. Bucks .............. what catches my eye is: the pedigree of the [Howell] family is given in this bill of complaint which is briefly mentioned in the article published - It mentions that William "then married Anne Dyer, * [*Defendant says her name was Anne Hampton] - has anyone been able to find/look at/copy: "From Chancery B. and A. Elizabeth H. h. 20, No. 27, A.D. 1573 this bill of complaint? I am wondering if (and hoping) there would be mention made of Anne being the daughter of ................ "Dyer"/Eyre?; despite several searches on the interent for information about Eyre all I I find are Eyres before the correct time period of after - mostly after, a John Eyre born 1571, if I recall. Anyway, much too late to be a brother of our Anne the 2d wife of Wm Howell ; Anne (Eyre) (Hampton) - I am hoping someone has found some parish records to prove/disprove this. I have not been able to access FHL records for a few years and not able to get over to Salt Lake to check their records.
