Colleen, I understand your feelings about com. vendors. They have taken what came out of family bibles and families information to sell and I am very much against that. No one should have to buy their family lines which was given by their line. I am not aware of, nor have I seen any of them searching in the dusty old books. I could be wrong. These companies gather from us and sell to them. They have seen a begine hobby and turned it into their own personal business. I myself have seen info I gave freely to a "cousin" put on another's web site with out my permission or to ask if it was correct or what site or who I got it from. And there it is forever. Maybe it will be snagged later and sold in a bundle who knows. We share with each other. That is what family is all about. Or you give to us, you have free access, but everyone else will pay for your given information. We all need to watch out for each other. Better saafe than sorry I say. I think Ancestry.com is the worst. If you go on many sites to search if you aren't careful you will end up on their "search" page. It doesn't say ancestry.com it will say something else. Then the hours you have spent searching end up :please subscribe to have access to this information. And back you go. Time wasted with their pitch. Or they offer you free days/weeks and all you have to do is give your credit card. Maybe you will forget to cancel the subscription after your free days are up and wola!! You now pay for your ancestors information gathered from that family bible or where ever. Keep up the good work, you are appreciated, Sheila _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
