Death claimed him January 6th at 11:40p.m. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his death besides a host of relatives and friends. He was a true and loving husband and father, and loved by us all who knew him. He made peace with his Savior some eighteen months ago, and said he was ready to go where there was no more suffering but a great rest. Funeral services were held at the family home January 8th at 10:30a.m. by the Rev. J.W. Foster, and his remains were carried to the Lone Star cemetery and laid to rest at 1 o'clock p.m.
