Adelene. Have seen a gedcom on Rootsweb concerning the Howell line from Chester Co Pa. Original immigrants three brothers. Francis Howell is one of them. I bet your Rebecca Howell is from that group. I think I saw a Website devoted to the Pa. Howell line also. I have not connected to these Howells from Pa but it was stated that from the 1600's they spread to Va and other southern states. I was told by another cousin that Chester Co Pa was a point of entry and debarking due to the ocean and river meeting there. Haven't done my geography on it. Any cousins on the list up on Chester Co Pa geography?May be that some of us Howells from Virginia came from this stock of Pa Howells but have not researched it enough to know.
