We have never been able to locate any of her family but know there were several families of Howells in the area around that time frame. She married James Trevathan in Henry county TN in 1848 and lived most of her life in the area of Western Ky. Anyone connected to the Howells that might have any information please let me know. Bob , I have seen this set posted before and noticed that there are twins which there are in my set as well. He is a good candidate for her father since she was born in 1833. Perhaps they moved up and lived around the Sumner county area for a while before migrating elsewhere. There are so many Howells in that same several county area alot of them surely have to be related. My set seem to be a ghost, no one knows anything about her parents or siblings. One of the local books at the college library says she was born in Sumner county KY which borders Allen county KY and its loaded full of Howells as well. Did any of your set end up in Western KY? Also we have found that after Sarah was married they lived briefly in Memphis Tn. where some of the children were born, why we dont know. Perhaps her or her husband had family in that area. Thanks so much for your email and any information that you have on these folks, they are on my possibility list.
