Louis Howell is my brick wall. He as born probably in mid-1700's. Wife was Mary Blailock. She is buried in Old Gum Springs Cemetery, Braxton, MS. Louis may be buried next to her as there is a space between her grave site and the next plot. He was the father of Samuel Howell, born 1792 in SC. He married an Elizabeth sometime between 1830 and 1850. He died before 1860 in Union Parish, Louisiana. Samuel was the father of Richmond C. Howell, born June 30, 1822 in Pike County MS and died June 23, 1864 in Union Parish LA. He was married to Mary Ann "Polly" Hammock on May 22, 1862 in Union Parish LA. Richmond was the father of Thomas Jefferson Howell (only child of this marriage) born March 27, 1863 in Union Parish Louisiana. He died December 3, 1921 in Union Parish LA.
