----- < This is my brick wall: John Howell, "born about 1732 in PA," moved to NC at some point and had three sons: John, Thomas, and Francis. Francis was born in Orange County, NC. There are records of the three brothers in and near Orange County in the RW era. Later John went to TN where he had descendants through a daughter and Francis moved to Missouri in 1797 where he and his descendants are well documented. Can anybody help with this father John from PA? Who were his parents, his wife, when did he die (said to be "after 1780.") Lew Howell (CA)
