I am seeking information about Archilous Howell, b 1740 in Wayne Co., NC, died abt 1811 Waynesboro, Dobbs Co., NC. Was his wife Elizabeth Needham? Were his parents Henry Howell and Gail, Henry's first wife? I have Archilous' will naming wife Elizabeth, children Abraham, Henry,Stephen, Caleb, Needham, Daniel, and John (all Howells), and David, Steven and Charity (all Pates). I am descended from his 2nd family with Rachael Boyet Howell vis John H. Howell.
