For anyone new to the list, if you would like a list of books in the Library of Congress that have info on Howells, go to http://lcweb.loc.gov/catalog/browse/prem.html... Type in Howell, search, then choose one of the entries that says Howell Family. Last time I checked there was a list of 28 books. More than likley they are all reference books. I haven't heard of anyone being able to get their local library to "borrow" a copy of one, though I'd love to hear if someone has been successful in getting access to a copy.
