I am researching the family of Andrew Jackson Dorman b. 18 Jan 1811 in GA. He married Susan (possibly Howell or Harrison or Franklin) about 1838 in Sumter Co. GA. Their children were Louisa, George H., Daniel A., Martha Elizabeth, Benjamin B., Henry C., Sarah R., William Taylor, Joseph N. (Jasper-my line), Harriet Mary E., & Alexander. They were in Sumter Co. GA in 1840 & 50 census, Colquitt Co. Ga in 1860, Echols Co. GA in 1870 & Hamilton Co. FL in 1880. They got around didn't they? Do you know who their parents were? I will be glad to share any info I have with you if this is your family. The names Joseph & Jasper are also carried out in my family. Would like to know if they connect with yours.
