My gggrandmother was Elizabeth Howell dau of Welcom and Ann (Longacre) Howell from Roane Co Tenn. She was b Mar 22, l822 in TN and died Oct 4, l857 in Calif She married Charles P McPherson on June 30, l839 in Roane Co Tenn. There was a bondsman named Asa Howell but do not know relationship. They moved to Johnson Co MO, had several children and then on to Calif. Dorinda Bullittwo@aol.com
