Sorry if this is a repeat to any of my lists but apparently I got unsubbed from some of my own lists.<G> Hello everyone, there seems to be some problems with the new archive system passwords. I had thought of contacting the person who is working on this project but since he is so busy I didn't want to bother him. The latest news is that there will be no passwords in the future. For now you can still access the archives via e-mail. Here's how it works: (Please read carefully, you will be writing to the same computer that does the subs and unsubs so it will be very particular as to the message you send.) Send an e-mail addresses to ????-D-request@rootsweb.com (replace the ??? with the name of the list you want archives for.) archive Goes in the Subject Line. LS volume97 Goes in the Message.. You will get back a list that has several columns of numbers like this: -rw-rw---- 1 slist slist 6969 May 27 08:59 1 Look thru the list, and see what digest number you want, and fill out another e-mail to: ????-D-request@rootsweb.com (replace the ??? with the name of the list you want archives for.) archive Goes in the Subject Line. get volume97/1 Goes in the Message..
