Does anyone out there have any information on Pleasant Howell who married Sarah/Sally Barns in Roane County, Tn. They married in 1845. Am trying to determine the parents of Pleasant. I "think" it is James & Lavinia (Payne/Clayton) Howell of Bath County, Va. James & Lavinia were married in Bath County in the 1820's. Pleasant was born in about 1828. Roane County, Tn Census records show a Vina/Lavinia in the household with Pleasant & Sarah during 1850 & 1860. Later she resided with Pleasant's daughter, Amanda Howell Buchanan, in Polk County, Tn. Any information on this line would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
