My Lemuel Howell was in the Revolution; entered 1777; discharged 1782. I know his father was Israel and mother was Anna White (maybe Mary Anna White). Lemuel Howell m. Mercy Chester prob. after his discharge in 1882. They had a daughter Mary Howell who was born 1783; died in WI in 1838 at age 55. I do not know if she had siblings. But, I'm sure Lemuel was long gone by the 1820s. Lemuel must have been born between 1735 and 1757 (His father Israel was b. 1715).
