Can anyone help? Pleasant Howell born about 1828 in Tennessee..married Sarah/Sallie Barns in 1845, in Roane County, Tn. Pleasant & family are listed on 1850 & 1860 Roane census, along with his mother, Lavina/Vina/Viney Howell. Lavina MAY be the child of Malachi Howell, born circa 1770. I can't determine if she was unmarried, or married a cousin at this point. Any information would be appreciated. BTW, if Lavina is the child of Malachi, she is also a sister to Benjamin & Welcome Howell. Thank you for any help you can provide.
