Howell, Pleasant, born about 1828, supposedly in Tennessee, according to Census records. Pleasant married Sarah/Sallie Barns in 1845 in Roane County. Mother is Lavina/Viney Howell. Can anyone tell me who the father is? Pleasant & family are in Roane County in 1850 & 1860, and living next door is Benjamin & Tempy Howell. I think Benjamin is the brother-in-law (or possibly brother) to Lavina/Viney Howell. Also, they are probably related to Malachi Howell, son of the Benjamin Howell born in abt 1753, in NC, later lived in Grainger County, Tn. Malachi lived in Roane County, Tn from 1820's until his death. Any information on this family would be appreciated. Thank You.
