He may have moved there with or because of SEALE, SIMS or STALLINGS relatives. Another person, N.B. COATS, probably another relative, lived with him and they made wagons. There E.L. met a young lady who was possibly teaching school, named Elizabeth Lewis EARL- GROCE (dau of Larkin GROCE & Belinda WHITE- EARL), who was staying with her cousin, Mary Ann GROCE- LEE, who had married Benjamin WILLIAMS- ANDERSON. Elihu and Elizabeth married in 1857 and in 1858 he served as Justice of the Peace of the Rock Springs Precinct of Nacogodches Co. In early 1860's Elihu settled his family to Pennington,Trinity Co, TX. Welcome any contact with any related families.
