Ron - In the book "Edward Howell and Descendants" by Emma Howell Ross, 1st Ed. 1968, it shows the following: Mabel Louise Howell b Nov. 18, 1898; m Aug. 16, 1930, Allen Robert Hallock. He is descended on his father's side from Peter Hallock who m. the widow Howell from Southold, L.I.; b Nov. 1886, a s. of Rev. Robert and Martha (Wells) Hallock. Hope this helps. Take care.
