    3. The 1900 census for Pike Co. KY Caney PCT, Series: T623 Roll: 548 Page: 69 shows the following: Lambert, Robert b Jan 1873 KY married for 3 years Lambert, Judy b April 1877 KY had 2 children with 2 living Lambert, John b June 1898 KY Lambert, Stella b June 1899 KY There is a John Akess age 42 and family living next door to them and they had 9 children with 8 living and all 8 are with them for the census. I didn't really see anything on the Howells that would help you out although there are several other Akers & Akess families in Pike Co. KY I hope that this helps. 3. Hello, I am looking for information on my ancestry…mainly trying to find any information on my gggrandmother, Judy Howell Akers that married Robert “Bob” Lambert. I know she was born in Yeager, Pike County in April of 1877 (approx). and she died between 1902-1906 and Robert went on to marry Rosetta Tackett (tackitt). Robert and Judy (Juda/Judia) had 3 children: John Lambert Stella Lambert, and Myrtle Lambert (my great grandmother). Myrtle married Meredith Edgar Knight and they had several children. One of which was Hershel Hardy Knight who married Evelyn Oliva Fraim (my grand parents). Any and all help would be appreciated. 3. Hi Josie, I think I can probably help you. My great grandfather Andrew Jackson Howell had a brother Charles Elmer Howell, birth date Oct 15, 1858, birth place Ashe Co. NC, who married Ettie (or Ellie) Ray, and moved to Pueblo CO. If this looks about right then you would also want to know that his parents were John Calvin Howell (born 1818 VA, died 1905 OR) and Louisa McMillan (or possibly Phipps) (born 1820 and died 1867 NC). John Calvin came from Old Town (Grayson Co) VA to Ashe Co. NC about 1845. Louisa was from Ashe Co. John Calvin's parents were Andrew and Jane (Hash?) Howell. Here we start hitting the brick wall. I "believe" Andrew's father was William Howell, but can't prove it yet. You may be interested in some of the deeds I posted to the Howell Resource Room concerning William and Andrew Howell. I can provide more information about Charles Howell's brothers and sisters if you want. I probably have access to information about Ettie, Ellie or Ettie Ray also. I live just over the hill from the old home place where Charles was born. Any chance you are related to Ingrahams from Franklin Co VA, late 1700's? andy graham Josie Ingraham wrote: > Hello List, > I have been out of the loop for some time.. We regret any confusion this matter may have caused.  User-submitted family trees are free and will remain free through the Ancestry World Tree and the RootsWeb WorldConnect databases.  The One World Tree service is simply an optional tool available for your research.  A subscription to the One World Tree service is not required in order for you to submit a file or for other researchers to search and view the files you submit at no charge through the Ancestry World Tree and the RootsWeb WorldConnect databases. The One World Tree subscription is an advanced search tool that gathers family trees and family history records for millions of people, analyzes the birth, death and marriage data and then displays the most probable matches for your ancestors. This service makes it easier for you to find and verify information pertaining to your family tree. We regret any frustration regarding the prices for Ancestry.com subscriptions.  The extensive scope and nature of our online databases and services require these prices to compensate for Ancestry.com expenses in content acquisition, image scanning, quality control, indexing, web hosting, etc.  Even with our prices, we remain one of the most cost effective subscription based genealogy sites available.  If there is anything else we can assist you with, please let us know.
