I am stuck in Hardin Co, KY. Mary Howell married Henry Sipes in Hardin Co, KY on 2 Dec 1826. Her probable father James Howell gave his permission for the marriage. Mary was born 3 Jul 1799 KY and died on 12 Sep 1872 in Brown Co, IN. The Sipes were in Hardin Co till about 1830 when then came to Lawrence Co, IN. They bought land in Monroe Co which was put into Brown Co when it was formed. I have never found enough information on the Hardin Co Howells to figure out where James and Mary fit in. Can you help? Hello everyone, Just a quick note to discuss a few things. First, let me welcome any new members we may have. The list secretaries have been send in the URLs to your web pages and I'm getting them on the list web page as quickly as I can. Since school has started I have been running a little behind, some of you may know that we home school our boys so of course that takes priority over my "internet hobby"<G>! I will get them up so please do send them to the list secretary if you haven't already. While we're on this subject, I want to clarify to everyone that the list secretary is only asking for your name, e-mail addresss (the one you're subbed to the list with) and your URL. They will NEVER ask for your telephone number, street or mailing address! If they do, I want to hear about it. You don't even have to give us your full name if you don't want to. Hi, I have been searching for sometime to find out more about one William Henry Howell who married Amelia Hatton on May 12, 1880 in, I believe NYC, NY. Amelia and William had 5 children, only two living to adulthood, one was my GGFather, George Lewis Howell. William and Amelia parted company sometime after 1891 and Amelia re-married in 1914.
