Hello this is my first post. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for information about my gggrandparents. I am especially interested in finding out more about their parents and where they came from. Zachariah Howell (est. ?-1929) m. Mary "Polly" Howell (maiden name was also Howell) (est. ?-1919). They had 5 children- Hutsey, Elisha, Walter William, Precious and my ggrandmother Viola (1895-1968) m. (1915) O'Neal Allred (1894-1952). Viola and O'Neal had 10 children-Mary Ester, Herbert O'Neal, Ruth, Elizabeth, Dottie Marie, Joe, Peggy, Billy Leonard, Barbara Ann and my grandmother Bonnie Bell (June 24, 1924- present). Dear Cousins, Sorry, I have been not very responsive to your letters lately. As some of you know, and have asked how it went, my mother had surgery on her ankle / foot and had it fused during the second week of April, it went ok, but things have been truely hectic at the Howell household. Ezekiel and Rachael (???) HOWELL both born in Trenton, Mercer, NJ in 1820 married and moved on the KY and then up to Macon county, IL. They may have lived in PA for a very short time also. Most of their children were born in KY and a couple in IL. The childrens names were Henry William, Ezekiel O, Hannah M, Hettie A E, George W, Elizabeth, and Emma. Greetings! I am looking for any information that anyone may have regarding a Harriet or Harriot Howell(s) born about 1815-1825 in or around Tredgar, Wales. She married Jonah or John Nash and came to the States about 1845 and settled in Meigs Co., OH. They are listed in the 1850 census of Meigs Co. OH but not mention there after. They were married on Dec 08 1914. in Faulkner. Randolph County West Virginia. by the REV WM. M. Flint. I allso need any information on Floyd and his family. Edith. Mother SARAH 'SALLY' HOWELL. Father un known. Floyd. Parents unknown. EDITH later married My father. RAYMOND CLAIR ROWAN. under the name of EDITH STRAWDER. on April 24 1919 in Elkins West Virginia. married by the REV. Wm. E. Crag. As far as I know she and Floyd lived in Glade at the time of their marrage. and she lived in or around Sago at the time she married my father.

My Howell's as follows: Thomas Perrin HOWELL b: ca 1818, England, m: Elizabeth FARRAR 1839, Stroud, Eng. son: Charles George HOWELL b: 27 Oct 1848, Gellygaer, Glamorgan Co Wales, m: Eleanor Frances MOODY, 31 May 1892, Glouscestershire, Eng. dau: Florence Irene HOWELL b: 23 May 1895, Drummond, Montana, m: Wm Martin Homer CLEMENTS. Charles George & Eleanor arrived Montana shortly after their marraige in 1892. Charles parents also migrated to the US, we think about the same time. Both we believe buried near Drummond. Anyone out there with these Howells? Rayford fought in the Rev. War (I have heard) in VA or NC. Howells left Lumberton NC ca. 1840 to Abbeville, Wilcox Co., GA. Nance is a related surname from Lumberton. Johnsons are also related in GA.
Adelene my family came from BOWLING GREEN KY. I have alot of family from there but i'm having difficulty tracing them. Here is some of thier names: THOMAS HOWELL who married Rebecca Satterfield MOSES HOWELL born 13 JULY 1818 WARREN COUNTY KY. Who married Sahra Claypool 11 JULY 1839 JOHN HOWELL is also Thomas's son and my line of the family tree. John Howell married Matilda Goode on 23 April 1835 in Warren County KY. Thier children were martha E., Thomas J., Frances, and JOHN ROBERT HOWELL who was born oin 1840 (john). John Robert was born in Simpson County KY. He married Marie (Mariah) Frances Turner on 1 JAN 1861 in warren county ky.
