I did not even know that they were their untill you all told me. my Messages to the list came back to me just fine. I hope that I have got this fixed but if not I will give up the list and not post any more. we should be able to find some one to take over if I have to leave. Since every post coming across this list by the listowner persists on encluding an attachment, even though SEVERAL times it has been commented on that those things are no-no's unless requested, and are *strongly* suggested should *not* be sent via these type lists by every other listowner as they not only have the potential to cause problems for many, but also have the potential to carry a virus, I'm UNSUBBING, (with this note sent to all explaining my reasons) rather than take a chance on causing problems with my system due to the inconsideracy of the listowner. I previously sent a comment privately to this person, and I know others have too, but the comments apparently fall upon deaf ears.

Whether mature grandmothers with established families or a young mothers with their first children, they take the responsibilities of motherhood as a lifetime commitment of love. Lets Remember to express our appreciation for all thoes who have helpd nurture and guide us, includeing the teachers and day-care workers who have dedicated their lives to educating and inspiring children. Let's also include the nurses and doctors who have taken care of medical needs when we alone could not. Whatever role they play, we thank god for these kind, loving people.     3. Looking for info re: the family of William Howell, born abt 1816 in North Carolina, who with his wife Catherine was living in Madison Co, TN in 1850. She was born in North Carolina abt 1819. The Census shows several children living in the household: Boaz Howell, age 15 Rachel Howell, age 14 Jane Howell, age 12 William Howell, age 8 Dallas Howell, age 6 Jackson Howell, age 4 Patrick Howell, age 2 Also, a Major Howell, age 37. Don't know if he was an elder brother of William, or what... I'm trying to figure out if daughter Rachel Howell is the Rachel Elizabeth Howell who married Joel Garner.     3. Mike - I didn't see a Samuel Uriah Howell in my files, but I did find some info on a Uriah Howell that I thought you may want to check out. This comes from the book "Descendants of Edward Howell..." 1st Ed 1968 by Emma Howell Ross: Uriah D. Howell a carpenter, b. 5/19/1815; d. 1884. Went to Illinois in 1836; m. Elsie Nevius, b. 10/11/1820; d. 1889, dau. of Johannes Nevius. Issue: Col. Charles, b. 1843; m. Adelaide Robbins; had issue William, b. 1848; unmar. Ann Eliza, b. 1845; m. John Gulick; had issue John, m. Augusta Snell; had issue Alice Supposed to be one more; all listed in the 1850 census of Jersey Co, IL. Take care.
