    3. There was a lot of Parley or Perley Howes... but so far I haven't been able to find any information on my Parley HOWE or on a Sybil or Deborah HULETT either... the wife of my Parley. My knowledge is limited, but this is what I currently have on my Parley and my line of descent. *********************************************** Generation #6 Parley, b. ±1780 married Sybil Deborah Hulet [or Hulett / Halette]. Parley died 2 Dec. 1856 at Mansfield, N.Y. His Children were: 1. Laura, b. 1809; m. Benjamin Stebbins. 2. Joseph "went to missouri." 3. Samuel, b. 26 Oct. 1815; m. 10 Nov. 1840, Jane S. Manley; d. 28 Nov. 1887. 4. Lemual "went to Missouri." 5. Ruba 6. Sybil, b. 1823, Onodaga Co., N.Y.; m. William Henry Case. [The 1855 census shows Parley with Sybil and William Case and family in Napoli, Cattaraugus Co., New York. His age is given as 76 years. An obituary published in Ellicottville on December 11, 1856, simply states that Parley "died on December 2nd., 1856 in Mansfield, N.Y. at the home of his son, Samuel." Generation #5 Samuel Howe [as #3 above] was born in Onodaga County, N.Y. He was a farmer and moved to Mansfield, Cattaraugus County, N.Y. before 1830. Since that time he married, lived, had all of his children and died there and both he and his wife were buried in Crawford Cemetery. Their children were: 1. Catherine Clark who d. 8 Oct. 1871 in Greenville Mish; m. 2nd. Bertha Foster; d. 18 Apr. 1904, Little Valley, N.Y. 4. Martin Amasa, b. 1 July 1849; m. Etta Fisher; d. 1930's, N.Y. 5. Millard, b. 16 Jan. 1852; d. 10 Apr. 1875. 6. Leonard D., b. 1 Feb. 1854; m. Dora Starks; d. 18 Dec. 1935, Vaughn, Washington. 7. Alice Teresa, b. 3 June 1856; m. Judson Foster; d. in Salamanca, N.Y. 8. Levi Dulson, b. 4 July 1858; m. Ella Chamberlin. 9. John Elon, b. 23 May 1860; m. Effie Adellia Lyon; D.! ! Fall City, Washington. 10. Nelson Scott, b. 24 July 1861; m. Caroline Coles Barton [or Burton]; d. 1950 in Mich. 11. Augustas Victor, b. 18 Dec. 1864; m. Katherine Calkins; d. 1940 in Georgia and had 4 sons, one named Don. Generation #4 Amenzo Franklin Howe [as #3 above] He served in the Civil War and was given a grant of land in Michigan where he married Catherine M. Clark of Greenville, Mich. Before her death, they had two children: 1. Alva Warren, [my grand dad] b. 21 May 1867, Greenville, Mich.; m. 18 Jan. 1889, Estella Field of Little Valley, N.Y.; d. Vaughn, Wash. 2. Julius Clark, b. 21 Mar. 1869; d. 29 Oct. 1921. Almenzo married 2nd. to Bertha Foster and had children; 1. Herbert Chester, b. 1873; d. 1960, Little Valley, N.Y. 2. Charles Louis, b. 1882; d. 1939. 3. Clayton, b. 1883; d. 1887. 4. Avery Glen, b. 1889; d. 23 Mar. 1969. and 7. Verna Ruth, b. 1891. Generations #3 Alvah Warren, to myself [#1] I have considerable information, of course. Grandpa migrated with his family to Vaughn Washington in 1902 and his last child was born there and the entire family lived, married, and died in the Tacoma and Vaughn, Washington areas. Generation #2 Orval Lenard, b. 1890, McKean Co., PA Generation #1 Oliver Warren Howe, b. 1933, Sequim, Washington. Any information on any of this HOWE family would be greatly appreciated.
