I have a ggg-grandfather named Barsilla (or Barzilla) Howe, b. 1807, d. 1869, listed in the 1850 NY census in the town of Perry, Wyoming Co., with wife Arvilla and children Freman 13, Allen 10 and Malvina 6, all born in NY. I also have family notes indicating a wife named Hannah Smith, b. 1817, d. 1901, with Barzilla and Hannah as parents of my gg-gf, Freeman Smith Howe.
