Hi...I am reposting information hoping this time, someone might recognize something...... My gr grandfather was Herschel David Howe, born abt 1862.....We know he came from the eastern part of the US but not exactly sure where...I am waiting for a copy of my grandmothers original social security application..I believe I found him on the California Death index as having died in 1935 at 73 years old in Riverside County, Ca.....He married Anna Clara Meissen in the Los Angeles area abt 1905....My grandmother Jessie Mary Howe was born 1908 and her brother Clifford D. Howe was born 1908....Anna Clara divorced Herschel, I believe before her son was born, this was odd for a Catholic family..... I know Clifford died abt 1954 as a young man from a sudden heart attack. Clifford was married to a lady names Josephine and together they had 5 sons and lived in the Los Angeles area...... Herschel had one brother that we know of,,,that brother had two children, one of the blind. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated...... also believed they resided in Downey, Ca thanks so much Machelle Hammack Bronaugh
