I am searching for information on the parents of Catherine Emiline Howe. She was born 4 Jan 1845 in Bath, Mason County, Illinois. She married John Marion Griffin 31 Mar 1867 in Mason County, Illinois. She died 13 Apr 1933 in Limestone Township, Peoria County, Illinois. I have been told by relatives that her father's name was John, and that Catherine was brought to Illinois by a minister and his family after her parents died. They believe the family may have come from Vermont originally. I would appreciate any help.
