    1. HOWE
    2. cbruce
    3. Hello, This is the first time for me to post on this list so I hope that I'm doing this right. I'm looking for information on PETER HOWE who came to America at the age of 12 with is uncle, from Ireland during the potato famine. I don't have any moer information about him excet that he may be the father of my greatgrandfather WALTER HOWE. WALTER HOWE could have been born in the area of Richmond, Madison, KY around 1860 or later. Both WALTER and his wife LOULA (HOWARD) HOWE are buried in the Richmond Cemetary in Richmond, Madison, KY. WALTER HOWE and Loula his wife had a son (my grandfather), Henry Lee Howe who was born 7 Mar 1900 in Richmond, Madison, KY and died 27 Jun 1981 in Oxford, Bulter, OH. I can't find WALER HOWE on the 1900 Kentucky Census for Madison County. Could the census takers at that time over looked them or were the Howe's the kind of people who just stayed away from them? If anyone has any information about these Howe's I sure would like to hear from you. Would really like to have information about Walter and Peter Howe. Carol Bruce Cbruce@ucs.indiana.edu
