    1. Looking for info on Arthur Archibald Howe
    2. I am looking for information on Howe Family, My grandfather was Arthur Archibald Howe, he was born in 1880 or 1884, died 1962. He grew up in a house called Alpha Square off Onley street, Walworth, in the Parish of Newington, London, England. They also grew up in Devon and Cornwall. He came to Canada around 1900, I am looking for information on his parents or siblings, or aunt, uncles. He went to Blackheath school and apparently had several brothers and sisters. Supposedly some of his brother died in the Boar War (late 1800s). My grandmother said the family story is that he was related to General William Howe and Admiral Richard Howe, so I am trying to find the connection. I have information on Richard Howe's decendants and it leads to Princess Diana. If you have any information on this, that would be greatly appreciated. thank you marie_murray@cdnoxy.com

    3. Hi, I am new to this list. I have described below what I know about my HOWE ancestors (sorry, it's not much): Sarah Howe (daughter of James Howe and Elizabeth Dane) b ca 1650 m 05Dec1666 to John Bridges d bef Mar1678 Sarah and John had a son James Bridges b 03Jan1671 in Topsfield, Essex Co, MA m 24May1692 in Andover, Essex Co, MA to Sarah Marston d 24Apr1739 in Andover, Essex Co, MA A great number of the Bridges-family events occur in and around Essex Co, MA and I am guessing that Sarah and her family may have been from that area as well. If any of the above names or places ring a bell, I would be delighted to hear from you to compare notes. Rick Rusinak rusinak@freenet.msp.mn.us Dodge Co. MNGenWeb http://www.rootsweb.com/~mndodge

    1. First posting
    2. This is my first posting to the list. I've only recently started tracing this line and this family has been difficult due to varying census information. My great grandmother, Sarah Jane Howe, states she was b.24 June 1872 in three different areas...PA, KY and England. From what I've gathered from various records, this is what I've concluded: Frank Howe, possibly b. England m. Jennie Taylor in PA before 1872, they had the following children: Sarah Jane who married James Killion on 30 Aug 1890 in Jackson county, IL. Mary b. 10 Sept 1878 and married Arthur Wagstaff and Hannah b. 1883, married 1. Mr. Barbary and 2. Mr. Scroggins. I believe Frank and family left PA went to KY and settled in Jackson county, IL. Is anyone researching a How(e) or Taylor family in PA? Sorry I don't have more to go on. Thanks! Susan
