RootsWeb has requested that unless one has specific permission from the original sender of a post, one not forward it to another list, because the original poster holds copyright. RootsWeb can forward posts, using the PML, because every poster to a RootsWeb list gives RootsWeb permission to do so in the AUP. That does not give us or any other individual permission to do so, though. Whether or not we "agree" with the interpretation of the copyright law is moot - these lists operate on RootsWeb machines, and we abide by their decision. Thanks Jeannie <><
