His parents were John HOUSE & Bethia CROCKER. William was born 7 April 1839 at Snelling, Turnerspuddle, Dorset. 1881 Census has him as a Carpenter in Ansty Pleck & birthplace as Piddlehinton. 1901 Census has him as Blacksmith & Wheelwright in Hilton & birthplace down as Morton, Dorset. William married 3 times: Harriet ROLLS, Emma UNKNOWN (bef.1901 Census), & Clara E. RUSSELL (1922). He died 3 June 1924. I've been working on this family this week, but most of the info. is in the gedcom & rtf report I sent to you at the beginning of May. I have several sightings for people at Pallington/Paddington/Pollington, Dorset, mostly for William's children. Multi-map has none of these in Dorset, so any help as to where they are would be gratefully received. I'm going down to Dorchester later this month, so will enquire there. regards, Andrew
