I have Matilda Catherine House, born 20 Feb 1851. She was my great grandmother, and I have been unable to find any record of her before the 1870 Census. In 1870 she was wife of Thomas Hemphill Peter Roberts, listed in Fulton County, Arkansas, and had a child less that one year old. "Pea and Tildy" had eight children, lived most of their lives, and are buried in Fulton Cunty, Arkansas. The Roberts family were in North Carolina and eastern Tennessee and Missouri before settling in Arkansas around the time the Civil War was starting. Could this be the same Catherine? --- Wilma King ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <HOUSE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 10, 2007 11:44 AM Subject: Re: [HOUSE] Who was HANNAH HOUSE, c1770 ???? > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: Maryiola > Surnames: House > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.house/1840.1/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Not sure if this is your Hannah House.
