I have looked and looked for any listing for John as an adult and as a child, finding nothing.. Surely someone must share a common link with me. The only record I have ever even found with his name on it is his Obituary and a marriage lic in Bloomington, IL. It is like they avoided the census takers. Having chased after HOUSE families for 40 years and my aunt for 25 years before me I have seen it all. NO one consistently eludes the census field workers for THAT many Decennial shots. I looked at Georgetta's KNOWN Boone Co.,MO 1910 census for clues and see that the children thought that John Edward was from Scotland. This is probably wrong as later censuses on the children have many different places. Check Boone Co court records and land records. Chase down Georgetta's parents, and find out where the other children of Georgetta's were born & died. In 1910 Georgetta says 7 children BORN & 4 alive. You only listed the children that lived past the 1910 census. I am curious to your source for John Edward's parents. Lloyd McDaniel

    3. I have only ever found John Edward listed on two records: 15 NOV 1883 Marriage Lic McLean County IL http://home.comcast.net/~alcore143/marr.pdf 12 JUL 1907 Obituary Boone County MO http://home.comcast.net/~alcore143/obit.pdf I will temporarily post them as pdf files so you can see them My problem with the other 3 children is that I have never located a census record earlier than the 1910 after John died. -----Original Message----- From: HouseGeny@aol.com [mailto:HouseGeny@aol.com] Sent: Monday, April 24, 2006 12:38 PM To: HOUSE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [HOUSE] Re: JEHouse/GEMOHR Connection In a message dated 4/22/2006 10:24:47 P.M.
