Mrs. House was a daughter of Jacob Mohr. She was born in Woodford, Illinois., and was 16 years old. She has been ill almost a year from cancer and heart trouble. J. C. Callahan officiating, with members of the American Legion participating. Mr. House, born November 6, 1895, was the son of the late John and Etta House, both residents of Boone County, and had always made his home in the county. On February 26, 1918, he married Miss Lena Rebecca Burks, who survives him. There are also nine children who suvive, five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Heuer, Miss Margaret House, Miss Mary House and MIss Belle House of Columbia, and Mrs. Bessie Heuer of Hallsville, four sons, Sam House, Junior House, Howard House, and Granklin House, all of Hallsville. Besides his wife and children, Mr. House leaves two brothers, George House of California and Estle House of St. Louis and one sister, Mrs. Fred Crose,Quincy, Illinois. The body will remain at the Parker Memorial Chapel until the services at the Church of God tomorrow afternoon. The following members of the American Legion will act as pallbearers: Granville Persiner, W. L. Sapp, Jesse Barger, Louis Griggs, Charles Bennett, Clay T.
