Buried in the House family Cemetery in Du Quoin,. Ill. children are Lydia, Peter, Alexander, my great grandfather, Elizabeth, Archibald George, Jacob,Catherine, Wiley and John House. Do you have anything on Jacob's parents? I have pictures of House Cemetery on Jacob's property and the house is still standing. Don't have anything else. The House s moved from southern Ill to Oxly, Missouri where my grandfather and grandmother died and my father died there also in the Ozarks of Missouri. I am looking for my grandfather's brother, Hiram Hyde House married to Alice Roddy House. Last known to have left Oxly, Missouri around 1929 and moved to Piggott Arkansas where his son Gene House was born. Lost track of them after that. Can anyone help? Brothers William George McClellan House and Jacob House. Father Alexander House grandfather Jacob House from North Carolina. We have searched extensively and cannot find them. Rumors abound about them being buried in Grimes Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa. But I dont know how that happened or can't find any evidence of that. Can anyone help????
