Am researching the name Abraham Van House (also House), of St. Lawrence County, NY. He was one of the sons of Peter and Catherine House (Van House). Catherine was the daughter of George Barnhart, a Loyalist. Abraham's brother, John (Van) House, was christened at Trinity Anglican Church, Cornwall, County Stormont, Ontario Province, Canada 29 November 1807, the son of Peter House & Catherine Barnhart; godfathers : John Barnhart & William Runnions; godmother: Olive Stillwell. Reference: Mircor Film C 3028. I am a descendant of John (Van) House Files from a cousin also include photocopies from “Records of Grace Church (Episcopal) at Norfolk, St. Lawrence County, NY 1825-1890”. Film # 0533508, Item 7.
