No it is not, although there may be some connection. My wife's great grandfather is the William D. House that I am researching. I find him in the 1900 census living in Washburn Township of Sebastion County, Arkansas. He was born in July 1840 in North Carolina. His wife's name is Mary C. I do not know her maiden name. She was a native of Arkansas born in April 1845. Jim
